We have spotted some notable Nest deals over the last week for folks looking to upgrade to one of Google’s latest smart home gadgets. First it was the Amazon low on the latest 3rd Gen Nest Cam Indoor just befit this deal on the Nest Learning Thermostat (4th gen) at up to $120 off, and now we are taking a looking at a chance to score some savings on the latest model Google Nest Doorbell (wired, 3rd gen).
The regularly $180 3rd gen model is starting down at $163 at Amazon right now where they have never dropped below $132 (this is where we are hoping they land in the spring sale as early as tomorrow). However, Best Buy’s “excellent” condition open-box unit are currently even less than that:
- Google Nest Doorbell (wired, 3rd gen) Hazel $108 (Reg. $180 new)
- Google Nest Doorbell (wired, 3rd gen) White $117 (Reg. $180 new)
More details on Best Buy “excellent” open-box units:
- Geek Squad Verified
- Works and looks like new. Restored to factory settings.
- Includes all parts and accessories. Packaging may vary or be absent.
- 1-year warranty
While we certainly wouldn’t blame folks for holding out for a better new price, the chances of seeing the brand new models down this low isn’t particularly great as we are yet to see them at under $130.
These latest models happen to make for quick, easy, and notable updates over the previous-generation with better 2K video resolutions, wider field of view, and a particularly easy upgrade installation process – we were literally able to do it in just 5 minutes (details on that await right here).
