AirPods Max 2 pre-order deals still live, but AirPods Max 1 is $149 off today

While we have already spotted a light cash discount on the brand new AirPods Max 2 ahead of release this week, not to mention a chance to score $130 off the latest set with trades, we are tracking a deep price drop on AirPods Max (USB-C) today. You’ll now find all five colors at $149 off the original $549 list price.

Woot is now offering AirPods Max 1 (USB-C) down at $399.99 with free shippingfor Prime members (a $6 delivery fee will apply otherwise).

This is a regularly $549 set of now previous-generation Apple over-ears that include the same USB-C charging connection and the same paint jobs at $149 off.

Amazon was offering these cans at $99 off as part of the ongoing Big Spring Sale, and you will still find select colors down at $450, but they are selling out quick and Woot is offering an even lower price now.

The catch here, if you want to call it that is this: Woot’s deal includes a 90-day Woot warranty with purchase instead of the usual Apple warranty. They are $50 less than you’ll find at select retailers right now, and $149 less than the new Max 2, but this is something to keep in mind.

Apple AirPods Max 1 (USB-C) features:

  • ULTIMATE OVER-EAR LISTENING EXPERIENCE — Apple-designed dynamic driver provides high-fidelity audio. Computational audio combines custom acoustic design with the Apple H1 chip and software for breakthrough listening experiences.
  • FIVE FRESH COLORS — AirPods Max come in five fresh colors: Midnight, Starlight, Blue, Purple, and Orange. A color-matched Smart Case is also included.
  • FOCUS ON WHAT’S PLAYING — Pro-level Active Noise Cancellation removes up to 2x more background noise, so you can immerse yourself in music.*
  • HEAR THE WORLD AROUND YOU — Transparency mode lets you comfortably hear and interact with the world around you.
  • PERSONALIZED SPATIAL AUDIO — With sound that suits your unique ear shape along with dynamic head tracking, AirPods Max deliver an immersive listening experience that places sound all around you.* You can also listen to select songs, shows, and movies in Dolby Atmos.
