We are now tracking a deal at Samsung that drops its 34-inch ViewFinity S50GC monitor for $209.99 shipped. This model originally carried a $380 price tag and has more recently been selling for around $309. Today’s discount – which is matched at Amazon – knocks nearly $100 off its typical going rate, bringing it down to one of the lowest prices we’ve tracked for this display. We saw this model going for $180 during the holiday sale last year, and it’s now within just $30 of that all-time low. It’s a pretty good option to consider if you’ve been thinking about upgrading to an ultrawide setup for your workstation.

The Samsung ViewFinity S50GC highlighted here features a sharp UWQHD panel with a 3840 x 2160 resolution. While it’s not necessarily a gaming monitor, it still supports up to a 100Hz refresh rate and AMD FreeSync, making it perfectly capable of handling some casual gaming sessions with smooth, tear-free visuals.
