Apple’s most affordable new M5 MacBook Air is now at its best price yet (Nearly $150 off)

Apple made headlines this year already with the release of its most accessible and affordable new MacBook in years with the Neo. But if you’re looking to take it up a notch to one of its M series machines, the least expensive new M5 MacBook Air is now sitting at its best price ever on Amazon.

Amazon is now offering the 13-inch M5 MacBook Air starting at $949.99 shipped. Regularly $1,099, the most affordable model in the lineup is now nearly $150 off to deliver the very best price we have tracked to date at Amazon.

Apple upped the storage tiers on the brand new M5 Air lineup this year – the model we are featuring here today actually comes with the same 16GB of RAM as the previous-gen M4 model, but you are getting double the internal storage at 512GB.

The MacBook Neo is a very compelling proposition for folks looking to land a modern portable Mac release at the lowest possible price – you can score one on Amazon for $599 right now. A perfect option for super casual users if you ask me, but it’s not going to deliver as premium an experience as the MacBook Air running on Apple’s state of the art M5 chip, and that one is sitting at the lowest price we have tracked online that anyone can take advantage of right now.

All of that said, Amazon has taken the $50 launch deals we tracked on M5 MacBook Air up a notch across the board. Not all colors are down this low, but you will find a significant number of the RAM/storage options sitting at $149 off the list price to deliver the best deals we have tracked on just about all of them – as we detailed previously, the 15-inch M5 16GB/1TB model in Midnight was $200 off for a few hours yesterday afternoon, but quickly jumped up to the same $149 off we have on the rest of them:
