Amazon is offering the 77-inch LG OLED evo AI 4K C5 Series Smart TV at $1,699.99 shipped. This one carries a $3,700 list price at Best Buy where it is currently on sale for $2,000.
Today’s deal $2,000 off the list price at LG, up to roughly $600 under the going rate at Amazon over the last few months, and the lowest we can find. This deal also comes within roughly $60 of the lowest we have ever tracked on Amazon as well, and it very rarely sells for less than $1,800 there.
Again, the new C6 series has arrived, but that one is going to cost $3,700 and I might argue that, for all but the most hardcore users, likely won’t deliver enough over the C5 to warrant the extra $2,000 spend.
LG’s C series TVs are some of the most popular OLED models in the price range and for good reason. We have always been a big fan of staying a year behind on them unless you’re particularly picky about your home theater setup, as you can land one at a giant discount or, at the very least, a whole lot less than what you pay at launch.
