The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold is now back in-stock directly on the Samsung site. Go quick.
Earlier this week Samsung surprised just about everyone with an official re-stock announcement of its first triple fold smartphone and it is now up for grabs once again (or will be any minute).
- Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold $2,899 (Friday, April 10 at 10:00 a.m. ET) – will be live any second now.
The Z TriFold was scheduled to go live this morning at 9:00 a.m. ET initially, but Samsung apparently changed it mind (or made a mistake) and decided to let the listing loose at 10:00 a.m.
If this is anything like the last re-stock, and it almost certainly will be, the units will go fast, very fast. Hopefully there will be more than yesterday’s false start though – Samsung seemed to have been offering units yesterday morning, but there clearly wasn’t very many available.
Just be sure to keep trying if you can’t get through checkout right away as we did have luck getting through shortly after the initial run the last couple times. You’ll want to be in there as soon as possible, and even before the scheduled start time, but it is worth trying again if it doesn’t go through on the first shot through checkout.
Another thing to watch out for, or rather not watch out for, is the optional bundle gear Samsung presents on the way to checkout. There are some notable deals on accessories and Galaxy watch and buds here, but spending any time at all tinkering around with these options could be a bad idea. You might still get through with the phone and your discounted add-on, but it might not be worth spending any time on anything other than the phone – it is generally recommended you skip past these options as quick as possible and head straight to checkout.
We might very well get a follow up next-generation TriFold at some point, but it appears Samsung has discontinued the first model we have here today and will no longer be making anymore. If this is indeed the case, chances are there are going to be very few units available here today and you’ll want to move as quick as possible through checkout so you’re ready to go.
Good luck.
