Amazon clearance pricing on the Midnight 15-inch M4 MacBook Air is now back in stock at $1,299, or $300 under the original launch price. This has been a relatively popular deal among readers (and just in general), so there’s no telling how long in will remain in stock. 

Amazon is now offering the 15-inch M4 MacBook Air with 24GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage down at $1,299 shipped. This model launched at $1,599 and is now $300 less than that. 

But a far more helpful comparison would be to that of the new M5 lineup. 

Apple charges $1,499 for an M5 MacBook Air with 24GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, so we are still $200 less than that.

It is also worth noting that Amazon and most big box authorized retailers do not sell a 24GB/512GB M5 MacBook Air, so you’re not likely to see a deal one like we are with the other more pricey 24GB config. Amazon has the regularly $1,699 24GB model with 1TB of storage on sale for $1,549 while the 16GB model with 1TB of storage is on sale for $1,349 (both $150 off). 

All of this is to point out how notable the deals on the M4 model is – you’re looking at $200 under the most comparable M5 model, which is one that isn’t likely to see very many deals, if any at all from easily accessible online storefronts. 

Again, this deal has sold out a number of times already since the launch of the M5, so you might want to jump on it quick if you’re interested.
