LG’s UltraFine 6K Thunderbolt 5 monitor is $1,300 less than an Apple Studio Display XDR, and it comes with a stand

We recently featured the new 39-inch UltraGear evo GX9 as pre-orders are set to come to close very soon on the “world’s first 39-inch 5K2K OLED Gaming Monitor.” But today we are turning our attention to LG’s Apple Studio Display alternative at close to half the price with the 32-inch UltraFine evo 6K Nano IPS Black Monitor with Thunderbolt 5

Described as the “world’s first 6K monitor with Thunderbolt 5,” the 32-inch UltraFine evo 6K monitor is somewhat obviously LG’s take on the high-end workstation monitor, not unlike Apple’s latest 2026 XDR Studio Displays…just a whole lot less pricey.

Featuring 224 PPI and 99.5% Adobe RGB, it all boasts a range of connectivity options – Thunderbolt 5, DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI, and USB-C – alongside VESA DisplayHDR 600 to unlock “bright, deep, dynamic visuals.”

With 6K resolution (6144 × 3456) and a razor-sharp 224 PPI, the LG UltraFine™ evo packs over 21 million pixels into a 32″ panel—delivering 156% more pixels than standard 4K. UltraFine™ evo has has more working pixels in every inch—allowing you to view full-resolution content while keeping creative tools and editing interfaces clearly visible, sharp, and distortion-free.

This monitor is specifically built for Mac compatibility with Studio Mode as well:

Studio Mode offers three calibrated color presets that fine-tune your UltraFine evo 6K display for a more consistent, unified viewing experience. It adjusts subtle tone variations, helping ensure your screen stays consistent with your creative intent—from edge to edge.

The LG 32-inch UltraFine evo 6K monitor comes in at around $900 less than the entry level Apple Studio Display XDR and it is currently $400 off right now directly from LG where you’ll find some optional bundle deals – this puts the 6K Thunderbolt 5 monitor at $1,299 less than the most affordable Apple Studio Display XDR.
