Unicorn 512GB M5 MacBook Pro Apple doesn’t even sell anymore now down at $1,449 via Amazon

Apple completely got rid of the the most affordable 512GB M5 MacBook Pro a couple months ago, leaving this model relatively difficult to get ahold of. But Amazon just brought it back in stock down at $1,449 shipped

Amazon is now offering the 14-inch M5 MacBook Pro with 16GB of RAM and the 512GB SSD down at $1,449 shipped. This unicorn model launched at $1,599 in late 2025 and is now back in-stock at the lowest price we can find.

Apple ditched this particular configuration in March after it nixed the 512GB storage tier altogether. This effectively raised the entry price on its current M5 MacBook Pro lineup to $1,699 – this 1TB model is currently on sale right now though:

While we have seen the 512GB drop down as low as $1,400 in the past, the fact that it’s even back in stock and down as low as it is right now is notable.

We have also seen the 1TB M5 MacBook Pro with the same RAM count down at $1499 once, but if you’re looking for the lowest possible price on an M5 MacBook Pro right now, this is it.
