Lectric launches new XPress2 cruiser + commuter e-bikes with FREE $336 gear bundle and loads of upgrades at $1,399

Following the surprise first-time discount on Aventon’s Current ADV eMTB, Lectric is now launching its newest second-generation XPress2 Long-Range Cruiser e-bike with a $336 FREE bundle of gear for $1,399 shipped, while the High-Step model is getting the moniker of a commuter e-bike. As you probably already know, Lectric very rarely cuts the actual prices on its e-bikes and instead discounts the bundled add-on gear, which would have this bundle package at $1,735 if that were not the case. It’s the average bundle size we normally see on the first-generation XPress e-bikes, containing a rear cargo rack, fender set, Elite headlight, and a suspension seatpost. We’re no longer seeing the Step-Through XPress1 on the website, so it’s safe to assume that once stock runs out on the high-step model, they will be fully replaced by this newer variation – and it’s only sitting $100 higher in price. Head below to learn more about it.

Lectric is continuing its focus on providing accessible pricing despite giving the new XPress2 cruiser e-bike a list of more premium upgrades. Coming in four colorways over the previous two (white and blue for the Step-Thru + grey and green for the High Step), this new e-bike comes boasting a step up to the brand’s Stealth M24 motor with a 750W rated power and 1,310W peak power, as well as a continuing use of a 14Ah/672Wh battery to provide up to 60 miles of pedal-assisted range (less using the throttle alone) and top 28 MPH speeds. What’s really amazing to see is Lectric adding its XPerience Switch that lets you switch between the standard torque sensor we saw on the first-generation models or a cadence sensor to let the motor do more of the work.

Some other notable upgrades here include the SR Suntour XCM 32 suspension fork, the StarUnion 602 hydraulic brakes with 180mm rotors, a Shimano Altus 8-speed derailleur, puncture-resistant tires with pre-installed slime, and a 3.5-inch TFT color display for settings that also has a USB-C port for charging your phone. Other features include a 90-lumen headlight, a brake-activated taillight, turn signaling, quick-release peddles, and more.

Lectric currently has its Memorial Day Sale in full swing with up to $694 in FREE bundled gear and up to $500 price cuts on its e-bikes that start from $799. You can find several other e-bike sales within our dedicated hub, like the first-ever discount hitting Aventon’s high-end Current ADV Electric Mountain Bike for $600 savings to $3,999, among many others.
