The best 2026 Prime Day deal might already be live – Apple’s AirPods Pro 3 just dropped to the best price ever at $179 shipped.
Best price ever on AirPods Pro 3 now live
Amazon is now delivering the lowest price we have ever tracked online for Apple’s sought-after AirPods Pro 3 down at $179 shipped. Regularly $249, and now $20 under the early summer discount we featured last week, you’re looking at nearly 30% in savings and the best deal on what are arguably the best earbuds on the planet.
Whether you’re looking to land a new set for yourself, upgrade from a previous-generation model, finally make the switch to Apple buds, or even land something super awesome for Dad, there’s never been a better time than right now to score a set of flagship Apple AirPods.
Are AirPods Pro going to be on sale for Prime Day?
Yes, almost certainly, but it might not be worth waiting until the official Prime Day event starts on June 23.
At this point there’s no way to know for sure if this deal is going to stick around, or if Amazon is going to offer them down this low for Prime Day.
Apple’s AirPods Pro 3 released in September, and the only the Prime event they have been around for was the 2025 Prime Big Deal Days sale in October – they did not go on sale at all, but that was hardly a month after release and price drop expectations were low at best.
After that it was Black Friday. Almost nothing is safe from the clutches of Black Friday price drops, and neither were AirPods Pro 3. However, since then we have seen them down at the $199 Black Friday price a number of times and even a brief stint at $184 as part of Amazon’s efforts to circumvent a Verizon store offer – very few folks were able to get through checkout at that price though.
Here’s a quick look at the price history chart for AirPods Pro 3 on Amazon since release in September 2025:

Are AirPods Pro 3 going to drop lower on Prime Day?
The short answer here is we have no idea. But if I were to take an extremely educated guess as someone who follows deals on Apple gear for a living, I would say not likely. My best guess here is that the $179 we have right now is the price Amazon was going to offer them for and is now just trying to steal sales away from the competition ahead of time – before Best Buy and other major retailers launch their competitor sales were largely start before Amazon’s does.
Is there a chance they will drop lower? Yes of course, but it couldn’t possibly be by all that much. $169 would be wild, $159 would be insane, and $149 – that’s $100 off – would be groundbreaking for a pair of new flagship AirPods.
