Logitech is adding a new portable mouse to its lineup called Mobi Fold, which is a compact wireless model that literally folds in half when you’re done using it. It’s one of the smallest mice in Logitech’s lineup, yet it offers all the essentials to serve as a solid replacement for your laptop’s trackpad. The new Mobi Fold is great for travelers and anyone working on the go, and it’s now available for $79.99 shipped. You can grab one in Sand, Off White, Graphite, and Lilac finishes, and you’ll find more details.
New Logitech Mobi Fold mouse now available
At first glance, the Mobi Fold looks a lot like Microsoft’s Surface Arc mouse thanks to a hinge that sits at the center, but the similarities end there. While the Arc mouse folded flat to become thinner and easier to carry, Logitech’s design folds inward to create a much smaller footprint when not in use. It’s similar to a clamshell folding phone design, which easily slips into a pocket or bag without taking up much space. Logitech claims the hinge is rated for up to 15 years of daily use, which should help ease any durability concerns.

The Mobi Fold tips the scales at just 79 grams, making it light enough to carry around without any issues. Most of the exterior is covered in a silicone finish that adds grip while also offering a bit of protection against the occasional bump or drop. Logitech has also designed the area around the hinge with a pleated section that expands and contracts as the mouse folds, eliminating any risk of pinched fingers. It measures roughly 2.6 by 2.5 inches when folded, giving it a footprint that’s not much larger than many wireless earbud cases already riding around in your pocket or bag.
Logitech says the Mobi Fold’s rechargeable battery can deliver up to a month of use on a full charge, while a quick one-minute top-up is enough to keep it going for as much as 22 hours. It’s obviously not trying to replace larger productivity-focused options like Logitech’s own MX Master 4. It is instead aimed at folks who spend a lot of time working on the move and want something more capable than a trackpad without sacrificing portability. It also supports multi-device connectivity and works across a wide range of platforms, including macOS, Windows, Linux, Android, and more.
