Apple’s 2026 AirPods Max 2 sitting down at Amazon all-time low pricing ahead of Father’s Day

While AirPods Pro 3 down at $179 or AirPods 4 at $99 make for a brilliant Dad’s day gift, if you’re looking to go big this year, or perhaps score Apple latest over-ears for yourself, the Amazon all-time low pricing on AirPods Max 2 is still rolling.

Amazon is now offering Apple’s 2026 AirPods Max 2 down at $499 shipped – this is the lowest price they have ever sold for in brand new condition since release.

Regularly $549, you’re looking at a solid $50 in savings and Amazon all-time low pricing.

There was a time when Best Buy’s open-box deals presented a notable chance to save some cash on these things for early adopters, but the prices are hardly lower than Amazon’s ongoing all-time lows right now. At the time of writing Best Buy is charging full price for Max in brand new condition.

There is of course a chance we see them drop even lower for Prime Day next week, but that’s not going to be much good if you’re looking to land a set for Dad, and it’s hard to imagine them dropping all that much lower than this. Something like $479 isn’t out of the question but a full $100 off would be a wild price drop this soon after release on Apple’s flagship over-ears.

The first truly next-generation set of AirPods Max, the set we are featuring here today deliver up to “1.5x more Active Noise Cancellation than original AirPods Max,” alongside enhanced adaptive audio and transparency modes, Conversation Awareness tech, Live Translation support, and more.
