Alongside the current MacBook and iPad lineups, the latest Apple TV 4K models also saw an official price increase. The base model jumped from $129 to $199 while the Apple TV 4K 128GB with Wi‑Fi + Ethernet jumped from $149 to $249. The latter of which is mostly sold out at retail or otherwise now fetching the much higher price tag, but we did spot a live listing over at Sam’s Club asking for $139 on the Apple TV 4K 128GB with Wi‑Fi + Ethernet.
Sam’s Club is now offering the Apple TV 4K 128GB down at $139. While only $10 under the launch price here, deals on Apple TV 4K were already relatively rare and this is now $110 below the new list price.
This deal is for Sam’s Club members, but you can checkout with a guest membership and a 10% surcharge and still make away at well below the price of buying one straight from Apple. Sam’s Club Plus members will get free shipping here.
You can score a regularly $60 Sam’s Club membership for $25 right now as well:
It does appear as though a new Apple TV 4K will be landing this fall, according to reports, but there’s no telling what the price might be there. It doesn’t look like the price increases are going to let up anytime soon and, while it is selling out quick, we are still seeing some Apple gear sitting at pre-price hike rates, much like the Apple TV 4K 128GB we are featuring here today.
Walmart appears to be completely sold out online when it comes to Apple TV 4K, Best Buy’s listings are now reflecting the new higher price tags and so are Target’s. Options for landing the already rarely discounted current-gen machine at the old price are dwindling quickly, and we suspect the new model, if it does arrive later this fall, will hit at a price much closer to the new MSRPs at Apple.
