Apple debuted and launched pre-orders for its upgraded M6 Mac mini and the M5 Pro model today and pre-orders are starting to go live at Amazon. Just make sure you also scope out that next-generation Apple Polishing Cloth for $9 before it sells out completely.
Apple debuted the first Mac with the new M6 chip today alongside the upgraded M5 Pro Mac mini and pre-orders are now going live on Amazon:
- 2026 Mac mini M6 16GB/256GB $899
- 2026 Mac mini M6 16GB/512GB $1,099
- 2026 Mac mini M6 24GB/512GB $1,299
- 2026 Mac mini M5 Pro 24GB/512GB $1,699
After stock on the previous-gen M4 lineup all but disappeared over the few months at retail, the all-new M6 and M5 Pro models are now readily available at Amazon and there’s no telling whether or not Apple will be able to keep these in stock (it certainly had a hard time with the Neo).

Or trade-in directly at Apple to land the new M6 at up to $500 or more off
Just keep in mind, it does not appear as though Amazon is offering any trade-ins for your old machine towards the new M6 and M5 Pro like the official Apple site is.
As we detailed previously, something like a 24GB/512GB M4 Mac mini will net you as much as $525 off the new M6 Mac mini.
- M6 Mac mini 16GB/256GB from $899
- M5 Pro Mac mini 24GB/512GB from $1,699
You can score a M6 Mac mini for as low as $374 with a mid-range M4 trade-in right now – more details here.
