Today, as part of Apple’s “Coming Home” celebration, it unleashed a bevy of new home products. From the all-new HomeView smart display and the next-generation Apple TV 4K, to HomePod mini 2 and a collection of official smart home gadgets, pre-orders are now going live at Amazon and elsewhere.
HomeView
Apple has now debuted its all-new HomeView smart display in two forms: One with the stand and speaker and a wall-mounted version. While both otherwise the same and listed at the same price, you will need to buy the wall mount attachment Apple is releasing with that option.
Apple is not taking trades towards the new HomeView so if you have some Amazon credit or gift cards at the ready from fall Prime Day, this will yield the lowest possible price.
- Apple HomeView $299
- Silver, Rose Pink, Starlight, Space Gray
- Apple HomeView (Wall mounted) $299
- Apple HomeView (Wall Mounted) with USB-C Wall Connector Power Mount $359
- Apple HomeView (Wall Mounted) with AC-Wired Power Mount $379
With a stunning 7-inch Liquid Retina display, HomeView brings entertainment, connection, and smart home management together in one place, from playing music and making FaceTime calls to home monitoring and hands-free automations with voice control — all designed with privacy and security at the core.1 HomeView recognizes users by their faces, adapting so they can access their personal content in Messages, FaceTime, Calendar, Reminders, and Find My. HomeView features Siri AI, an entirely new version of Siri that’s profoundly more capable and conversational, with broad world knowledge that powers richer music discovery and onscreen awareness.
Apple TV 4K (4th Generation)
Apple has now debuted its all-new Apple TV 4K model alongside a 4th Generation Siri Remote you can score on its own at $59:
Select titles, swipe through playlists, and use a circular gesture on the outer ring to find just the scene you’re looking for. A dedicated Siri button makes it easy to find what you want to watch using your voice. Includes voice recognition for up to six family members. If the remote goes missing, use Find My to have it play a sound or locate it with Precision Finding on iPhone
HomePod mini 2
- HomePod mini 2 $149
