Unlike the new Apple HomeView, it looks like Amazon is actually going to be holding on to the early pre-order discount on the new Apple TV 4K for now. But you might want to get in there sooner than later before the delivery times slip even further.
As of the time of writing, Amazon is still delivering the brand new Apple TV 4K down at $289.99 shipped.
- NEW Apple TV 4K $289 (Reg. $299)
That’s clearly not a massive deal and you could just score the new Siri Remote for a fraction of the price to upgrade your existing Apple TV setup instead, but the light deal is indeed still live as of this morning.
The full price pre-order listing directly from Apple has slipped even further on our end, as it is now no longer able to deliver the new Apple TV 4K until the first week of December.
Amazon is offering it for less, but it appears its delivery times have slipped as well for most regions of the country – you will need to actually checkout to receive a confirmation email with the estimated delivery time to find out by just how much.
Not exactly an easy choice, but you can leverage the slightly lower price on Amazon and then cancel the order if you don’t like the estimated arrival time you get.
Either way, if you’re looking to score this thing before mid-December or perhaps as a Christmas gift this year, you’ll want to act sooner than later. The chances of seeing the price drop any lower than we have right now are not great if history is any indication – Apple TV units have, at least in the most, been exempt from the grips of Black Friday at Amazon – leaving this pre-order deal as potentially the best chance to land the new Apple streamer for less and in-time for the holidays.
