Anker launches ‘world’s longest-lasting 5kWh’ power station at up to $2,150 off for 9to5 readers

Anker has officially launched its newest S5000 5,024Wh Portable Power Station that also benefits from our exclusive bonus savings code 9TO5DEALS5 to drop down to $2,375 shipped, beating out Amazon’s launch pricing by $123. This all-new model will fetch $3,600 in full once the launch deals end, with it starting off here at $2,500 for $1,100 savings that get all the better with our code, which combines for a total $1,225 savings. Of course, if you jumped on the early-bird offer that was running up until yesterday you’ll also be getting a FREE bonus bundle worth $699. One thing the brand is offering is a special launch gift, with a box at the bottom of the landing page where you can type in your order number after checkout (while being logged in as a member) to claim. Head below to check out its features and browse all its available launch bundle options.

Among portable power companions, the new Anker SOLIX S5000 power station brings along the title of the “world’s longest-lasting 5kWh portable power station,” ready to handle your home essentials with up to 48 hours of backup support during outages, and even longer when used sparingly.

It starts off with an impressive 5,024Wh LiFePO4 battery capacity (and a 15-year minimum lifespan) which can be expanded as high as 30kWh with add-on batteries should you want more down the road. It can deliver a steady output of up to 4,500W and surge up to 8,000W (handling both 120V and 240V loads), with nine port options for connections: 4x standard AC ports, 1x TT-30 RV AC port, 1x 240V L14-30 AC port, 1x 100W USB-C port, 1x 15W USB-C port, and a 12W USB-A port.

Now, on the topic of its 48-hour backup support timeframe, that number was tested by Anker while covering a refrigerator, Wi-Fi router, coffee maker, lights, and a mobile phone. Like I said, with more specific support on less devices/appliances, it can extend the period up to 86 hours when only covering a refrigerator, or up to 25 hours running a window AC unit, for example. It also follows in the footsteps of the S2000 power station with a lessened idle power use of 8.8W in 120V mode, which is rated for up to 21 days of standby, making it handy for storm seasons and uncertain times through the year.

While most 2026 releases we’ve seen bring along four or five recharging methods, the S5000 model brings a long a more versatile list of six options. Plugging it into a standard AC outlet allows for up to 1,800W input to reach full in up to 3.1 hours, while using its maximum 3,000W of solar input can do so in up to 2.1 hours. By using the brand’s smart dual fuel generator or a third-part generator, that timeframe is cut down further to around 99 minutes. You also have options for using the brand’s alternator charger, as well as dual source options for AC + solar or solar + generators.
