Microsoft’s Surface Laptop 7 with 12-core Snapdragon X Elite chip just hit a new all-time low at $1,100 (Save $300)

As a part of its now live Black Friday Doorbuster deals, Best Buy is offering the best price we have tracked for Microsoft’s 2024 Surface Laptop 7 in Sapphire at $1,099.99 shipped. That’s $300 less than its usual going rate of $1,400 and the lowest we can find. We’ve seen the Surface Laptop 7 with the relatively less powerful Snapdragon X Plus drop to the $1,000 mark, but this is the lowest price we have tracked for this model with 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD. It’s available in a bunch of colors, but only the Sapphire variant is down at the lowest price today. The same laptop, in case, you’re wondering, is currently fetching $1,200 on Amazon with a lighter $200 discount.

The Microsoft Surface Laptop 7 is among the first Copilot+ PCs that debuted carrying Qualcomm’s new 12-core Snapdragon X Elite chip. This unit, as previously mentioned, comes with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, and it sports a 13.8-inch touchscreen PixelSense Flow display with 2304 x 1536 resolution. This one also has a dedicated NPU to power through Microsoft’s Copilot+ features, and it’s quite powerful with 45TOPS of max performance. Other highlights of this notebook include a premium aluminum chassis, a thin and light form factor, a dedicated Copilot key on the keyboard, Wi-Fi 7, and a good selection of ports including two USB-C, among other things.

If you don’t mind picking up a laptop powered by the 10-core Snapdragon X Plus chip, then ASUS’ Vivobook S 15 is hard to beat at $650. It sports a 3K 120Hz OLED panel and is down from its usual price of $900.
