We are now tracking a deal at Amazon that drops the new WD Blue SN5000 4TB NVMe M.2 SSD down to $199.99 shipped. This new SN5000 drive debuted earlier this June carrying a $300 price tag. It has seen several discounts over the last few months on Amazon, but today’s 33% markdown shaves $80 off its usual going rate, landing it $28 below its previous all-time low. Best Buy is matching this drive’s $200 price today, and it’s definitely worth considering if you’re in the market to buy a new 4TB SSD. The SN5000, as previously mentioned, debuted earlier this year in June as an upgraded version of the WD Blue SN580 drive. It delivers pretty much all the same features as the SN580, but with a 25% boost in speed as it can reach up to 5,500 MB/s. It’s also available in more capacities than the older model. It features Western Digital nCache 4.0 SLC caching technology, and the brand also says this is good for “AI-enabled applications.” This is easily one of the most affordable 4TB PCIe Gen 4 M.2 SSDs on the market and it’s hard to go wrong with it at this price. The other capacity models also deliver great value for your money at the discounted prices today, so be sure to check them out if you don’t need 4TB storage.
