For my money, the Bose lineup of portable speakers is easily among the best you’ll find out there. They aren’t loaded with fancy tech features, but rather just focus on rock solid Bluetooth connectivity and even better sound quality. That’s not to say, however, you can’t access Siri or answer a call, though, for example.
I also like the color treatments on the latest second-gen models as well, ranging from an earthy taupe through to muted sage and blue colors before landing on the dark charcoal vibe you see above, each with a complementary carry loop jutting off the side.
The whole thing floats in case it gets dropped in the pool or lake, can link up with a second speaker for a bigger sound, and features 12-hour battery life too.
