As part of Amazon’s Black Friday Week Deals and the rest of Sonos home theater gear deals we are tracking, the brand’s new Roam 2 portable Bluetooth speaker is now sitting at the new $139 shipped all-time low. The black and white models are the Black Friday price on Amazon and the rest of the colors are now marked down directly from Sonos. While we already detailed the discounts now live on its most popular home theater sound bars, satellite speakers, and subwoofers, the new Roam 2 that debuted alongside the brand’s lauded Ace headphones has now dropped from its regularly $179 list to deliver the lowest price we have tracked to date.
Today’s Black Friday price drop comes in at $4 under the previous best and marks only the third time this new speaker has gone on sale since its release this past summer.
Despite some of the difficulties the brand has been having with its latest app integrations, the new Sonos Roam does land with some notable improvements under the hood by comparison to its predecessor.
These largely come in the form of a new battery that, while still offering the same up to 10 hours of playback, carries a max charge for longer. You also don’t need to link the speaker up with the Sonos app and your Wi-Fi before it’s ready to go portable.
