This $175 drive has been fetching close to $120 in recent months on Amazon where it’s currently sitting at $122. Today’s deal at Samsung, however, shaves $75 off its listed price, knocking it $20 below its usual going rate. This unit is now matching the price we tracked for it last month when it was discounted as a part of Samsung’s Discover Winter sale, and it’s $10 less than the Black Friday price. Samsung’s 990 Pro is among the top-tier SSDs out there that you can get for your PC, console, and other devices. This one from Samsung is available in 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB capacities, and it offers sequential read and write speeds of up to 7,450 and 6,900 MB/s, respectively, making it ideal for demanding applications. This M.2 2280 drive is compatible with most motherboards featuring a 2280 slot, but you’ll need a system with PCIe Gen 4.0 support to take full advantage of its capabilities.
