We just spotted a massive price drop on the 2024 Motorola razr+ foldable smartphone down at $499.99 shipped at Amazon. This is a regularly $1,000 handset seeing a gigantic 50% price drop in brand new condition. This unlocked device dropped to $800 a few times last year alongside a dip to $760 as part of the Best Buy holiday event, but we have never seen anything quite this low – you’re looking at a new Amazon all-time low by a long shot.
There’s no telling how long this seriously deep price drop will stick around for – it is only available on the Midnight Blue model at the time of writing.
The 2024 razr+ features a larger AMOLED cover display with a 165Hz refresh rate and a 1272 x 1080 resolution. If of course also delivers a 6.9-inch main display with the same 165Hz refresh rate and 3,000-nit peak brightness as well as some notable photography specs – a front-facing 32MP camera and a 50MP rear sensor – alongside a fingerprint reader, facial recognition, Wi-Fi 6 support, and an IPX8 protection against spills, light rain, dust, and more.
Our overall takeaway after getting hands-on with the 2024 model of Motorola’s razr+ was that it just “will not give up its throne” in the foldable smartphone world:
The phone itself is physically better, with a bigger display and better hinge. It brings a much better camera and telephoto lens and packs a beefier battery. Overall, it’s a flip phone that can handle itself very well.
