Hisense’s 85-inch 144Hz U8 mini-LED Pro Google Smart TV is now up to $1,100 off

If you’re looking for a sweet home theater upgrade for 2025, just in time for the Super Bowl and March Madness no less, the bang for your buck on the 2024 Hisense smart TV lineup is a great place to start. Amazon happens to now be offering the 85-inch Hisense U8 Series mini-LED Pro 4K Google Smart TV down at $1,699.99 shipped once again. This model launched at $2,800 last year at still carries as much at Best Buy where it is now matched. While we have seen it selling for much less than that over the last couple months, this is $1,100 under the price it debuted at last summer and within $22 of the one-time Amazon low. 

There are certainly more affordable 85-inch displays, but there are also dramatically more expensive options as well. A quick browse through Amazon’s 85-inch mini-LED listings will highlight as much. 

The U8 however delivers one of the more high-end panels and viewing experiences in the brand’s lineup without getting anywhere near the price of the big three TV brands.
