Alongside the sizable collection of Apple deals we are tracking today as part of the 3-day weekend sale, Amazon has now dropped the latest USB-C Magic Mouse back down to its $67.99 shipped low. Regularly $79, this nearly 15% is matching our previous mention for the lowest we can find.

You’re looking at the latest USB-C edition of Apple’s standard white/silver Magic Mouse. It finally decided to eschew the Lightning jack on the bottom for charging in replace of a modern and far more convenient USB-C port, and you’re now looking at the best price on a new unit out there.

Deals on Apple’s Magic mice and keyboards for Mac don’t cone around all too often, especially this early in the life cycle. While this model did debut last fall at this point, today’s low is only the third time we have seen it on sale to date.

For the record, the black model is still sitting up at its full price.

As I have explained in the past, there are a ton of Mac users out there that much rather some of the third-party and arguably more ergonomic solutions, I’m just not one of them. Anything without the gesture-based slider controls made famous by Apple’s in house PC controller just won’t do for me – and I tried a ton of different third-party options from brands like Logitech and others over the years.

Apple Magic Mouse features:

  • Magic Mouse is wireless and rechargeable, with an optimised foot design that lets it glide smoothly across your desk.
  • The Multi-Touch surface allows you to perform simple gestures such as swiping between web pages and scrolling through documents.
  • The rechargeable battery will power your Magic Mouse for about a month or more between charges.
  • It’s ready to go straight out of the box and pairs automatically with your Mac, and it includes a woven USB-C Charge Cable that lets you pair and charge by connecting to a USB-C port on your Mac.
