Deals on the latest and official Apple Watch Ultra 2 bands that released last fall have all but dried up completely. There was a time when we saw regular 14% price drops down to $86 on the usually $99 Alpine and Trail Loops, but the latest Ocean Bands are almost never on sale and even less so on the all-black model. That’s why today’s “excellent” condition open-box offer deserves some attention. Details below.

Apple unleashed a collection of new band colors last fall to match the latest satin black titanium Apple Watch Ultra 2. One of those straps was the all-black Ocean Band – this model has never been on sale at Amazon and is rarely even seen with even a slight discount.

That said, Best Buy is now offering the regular $99 model down at $78.99 shipped in “excellent” condition with the same 1-year Apple warranty you would get paying full price at the Apple Store.

  • Works and looks like new.
  • Includes all original parts, packaging and accessories (or suitable replacement).

Again, it might seem like a lot to pay for an open-box unit, but we are talking about one of the most premium official Apple Watch Ultra 2 bands that is basically never on sale here. If you are looking to add the blacked-out Ocean to your strap collection, this is one of the best opportunities we have seen yet.

Apple Black Ocean Band features:

The Ocean Band is molded in a high performance elastomer with a tubular geometry allowing it to stretch for a perfect fit, even over a wetsuit. The corrosion-resistant titanium buckle and adjustable loop secure the band during high-speed water sports. For extra length, an extension band is sold separately — perfect if you need extra length to wear the band over your wetsuit.
