First deal on a new 25W Qi2.2 MagSafe charger now live: UGREEN MagFlow stand down at $50

Just after Anker revealed its new 3-in-1 Qi2.2 25W MagSafe charging stand, much like Belkin did before that, we are now tracking the very first deal on a new 25W model courtesy of UGREEN. The budget-friendly brand was the first to reveal its new charging gear boasting the more powerful 25W standard, and its latest 2-in-1 25W Magflow Wireless Charger has now dropped down to $49.99 shipped on Amazon for Prime members. 

This one carries an already-affordable $60 list price, but today’s nearly 20% price drop marks the very first time we have tracked a deal on a new Qi2.2 magnetic charging solution. 

This model, as I’m sure you’re imagining, carries a typical wireless Qi pad on the base with the new 25W charging action up top on the MagSafe-compatible charging pad. You’ll also find an additional USB-C port along the side of the base to charge up a third device as well. 

At this point there are still some question up in the air regarding the 25W standard. We know the iPhone 16 Pro can actually handle the 25W of juice – previous to the emergence of the Qi2.2 standard Apple had the only 25W charger in the game. One can only assume the new iPhone 17 will accept the 25W of juice, but with rumors suggesting Apple is readying a 45W MagSafe charging pad, it will likely be able to take a whole lot more than that.

Either way, it looks like the third-party MagSafe stand will top out at 25W this generation, and you power hungry users will have to stick with Apple’s MagSafe cable if you need more than that. We aren’t sure exactly what Apple has in store right now, but it does appear it will once again be the only game in town with more juice on the magnetic side of things.
