The Heybike Ranger S e-bike is a great budget-friendly option for folks not wanting to spend the extra $500 for the newest Ranger 3.0 Pro model, with both of them bringing along folding designs to save you on storage space when not in use. Like some of the brand’s other e-bikes, this model comes with two motor choices – either the standard 750W rear hub motor (1,400W peak) that reaches the usual 20/28 MPH top speeds that depend on your local laws, or the 1,000W motor (1,800W peak) that can ramp things all the way up to 32 MPH. You’ll be getting a 692Wh battery with both options, tag-teaming with five pedal-assistance levels for up to 55 miles of travel.
One of the few other differences is the 750W model sporting a cadence sensor, while the 1,000W model boasts a torque sensor. From there, you’ll find shared features, including the 4A chargers that cut down on charging times, as well as a hydraulic front suspension fork, hydraulic disc brakes, 20-inch fat tires, a rear cargo rack, LED headlights, LED taillights with brake lighting, a smart LCD screen, and more.
