As part of its Deals of the Day, Best Buy is giving folks a chance to bring home a super affordable 55-inch TCL Q6 Google smart TV down at $249.99 shipped. 

For today only, Best Buy is offering the TCL 55-inch Class Q6-Series 4K UHD QLED Google Smart TV down at $249.99 shipped. You’ll also find “excellent” open-box units of this same TV sold directly from Best Buy sitting down at $199.99 shipped, for the record – it ships with a 1-year warranty.  

This model debuted at closer to $450 and still regularly fetches that much at retailers like Target. It, although not available on Amazon, does carry a regular $320 price tag at Best Buy these days. 

Today’s deal delivers the lowest price we can find online to land this 55-inch TCL release running on the Google TV platform. It is, admittedly, not the highest-end display out there running at 60Hz, but if you’re just looking for a more casual display to run your bedroom setup or a gaming rig for the kids, it certainly won’t break the bank. 

You will still, however, land HDR 10, HDR 10+, Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG), and Dolby Vision here alongside built-in Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa voice control, Apple’s AirPlay 2 casting, and some features to smooth out your console gaming setup – Auto Game Mode (ALLM) and “fast 120 VRR [to] enjoy more responsive gameplay without lag, designed to keep you at the top of any leaderboard.”
