Segway’s usually $1,000 Find My-equipped Max G2 electric scooter is down at $700 right now, more from $405

Among Segway’s selection of current e-scooter discounts, we spotted the longer-traveling Max G2 Electric Scooter down at $699.99 shipped right now, with that price also matching over at Amazon. While it may be listed with a $1,400 MSRP directly from the brand, you can more often find it down around $1,000, with many of the past year’s discounts having kept prices above $740, though we did see it dip down to $650 during Christmas sales and go lowest with a one-time price cut to $530 that only lasted a single day in the first week of December. You’re now looking at a $300 markdown off the going rate for a 9to5 staffer favorite, landing it at the second-lowest recurring price and the third-lowest overall price. As a cheaper alternative, you could get more than half the above model’s travel range on the E2 Pro Electric Scooter at $405.38 shipped. Head below for more on both these models.

While it may not sport the extended travel range, top speeds, and more premium features as the newer Max G3 descendant, the Segway Max G2 electric scooter is still a highly capable commuter and sports more advanced features than many of the brand’s more budget-friendly rides, including Apple Find My and Bluetooth locking. The 450W motor (peaking at 1,000W) comes housed within a weather-resistant steel frame alongside the 551Wh battery, the combination of which provides up to 43 miles of travel at up to 22 MPH speeds.

There’s a larger footboard for more standing room, as well as a front suspension for bolstered comfort on uneven or bumpy roads, and of course you’ll be getting the usual folding design to help with saving on storage space. That’s not all, as you’ll also be getting self-healing tubeless tires, a traction control system for riding on wet streets, a rear regenerative brake and front drum brakes, turn signaling, an LED screen for setting adjustments, and more.

Like I said, if you’re looking for a more budget-friendly model, that still packs in some higher-end features, including Apple Find My inclusions, you can save a bit more going with Segway’s E2 Pro Electric Scooter at $405.38 shipped, which beats the direct website pricing by $20. This is the predecessor to my newest go-to e-scooter, the E3 Pro model, but is still a fully-capable companion with a 15.5 MPH top speed and up to 21.7 miles worth of traveling range. Among its mechanical features, you’ll find built-in turn signaling, anti-skid traction controls, 10-inch air-leakage-proof tubeless tires, a 2.8-inch LED dashboard, and more.

We’ve been spotting plenty of notable Segway deals right now, like the previously mentioned E3 Pro Electric Scooter at $550, which has been my go-to e-scooter pick since going hands-on in a review at the end of 2025. There’s also the much more premium GT3 SuperScooter that is currently down at its $1,500 low, and plenty more to shop through in our dedicated EV hub here, while e-bikes can be specifically found in our separate hub here.
