You can now snag this display for your battlestation for $849.99 shipped. This is one of the more pricey models in Samsung’s Odyssey lineup that hit the scene carrying a $2,000 price tag last year. It has more recently been going for $1,800 at Amazon and Samsung, and today’s deal shaves $950 off to mark a wild 52% discount. It’s now fetching $50 less than its previous all-time low, so be sure to grab it while it’s down to its lowest price.
The Samsung Odyssey G90XF remains one of the more premium models in Samsung’s Odyssey lineup. It features a 27-inch 4K panel with a glasses-free 3D mode powered by eye-tracking and a custom lenticular lens. The effect is enabled through Samsung’s Reality Hub app and works with a limited selection of supported content and partner titles. There’s a lot to like about this model, even if you don’t factor in the 3D mode, as it’s capable of delivering a solid gaming experience with up to a 165Hz refresh rate, a 1ms response time, and support for both NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync. It comes with a sturdy stand and subtle RGB lighting at the back to round out the experience, and you also get a good port selection on this monitor to cover all the essentials with two HDMI ports, a DisplayPort, two USB-A ports, and a USB Type-B port.
If you’re looking for something more affordable, Alienware’s 500Hz gaming monitor is available for $400 today. It sports a 25-inch FHD resolution display, and it’s down from its usual price of $550. There’s also a QD-OLED Alienware QHD monitor that’s going for $500, and it sports a similar 27-inch panel like the Samsung unit highlighted above if you don’t want to step down in size.
