Best Buy is still offering FREE $50 store credits with purchases of the new MacBook Neo, but only for its paid members. You will also find some light $10 price drops over at Amazon, but there are also some early “excellent” condition open-box deals now live at Best Buy with as much as $52 off the new list prices on the already affordable new MacBook release. As we detailed previously, shipping times directly from Apple on the new Neo have slipped quite drastically. As of right now we are seeing 2 to 3 week wait times, so even if you are looking to go with a brand new unit, scoring one straight from Amazon with the lighter discount (or none at all) might be a better option, much like it is at Best Buy for members – it does not appear as though this $50 credit for Plus and Total members applies to open-box units:
