It’s only been a short few days now, but both my parents and I have been quite impressed with Segway’s Navimow X430 Robotic Lawn Mower since installing it to cover their front and back lawns now that they are getting to ages that drastically limit their mobility. The X430 robot is designed for tackling up to 1 acre per charge, while its X450 variant goes further up to 1.5 acres per charge – both being able to return to their base stations upon batteries running low and picking back up once recharged.
They feature new turf-safe Xero-turn AWD drive systems alongside suspension that allows it to handle uneven terrain, as well as up to 40-degree slopes. They offer 0.75 to 4-inch cutting height ranges, a traction control system, RTK satellite positioning (plus a backup antenna option for when your property may be difficult for satellites to connect), and more.
