Alienware’s new 27-inch 240Hz display lands as one of the most affordable QD-OLED gaming monitors, now up for grabs at $350

Dell offers plenty of gaming monitors under its Alienware lineup, but the new model we’re looking at today stands out as one of the most affordable QD-OLED options available. The brand has just unleashed new the 27-inch AW2726DM model, featuring a fast 240Hz QD-OLED panel, and it’s now available for $349.99 shipped. That makes it the most budget-friendly QD-OLED display currently in Alienware’s catalog, putting it in direct competition with other entry-level QD-OLED monitors on the market. Head below for a closer look and additional details.

Despite the aggressive price tag, Alienware hasn’t cut too many corners here. This model packs a QD-OLED panel with a 2560 × 1440 resolution and support for up to a 240Hz refresh rate. The 27-inch display is also FreeSync-compatible for smoother, tear-free gameplay. Other key highlights include 99% DCI-P3 color coverage, an infinite contrast ratio, and HDR10 support, although peak brightness is rated at 200 nits. Alienware is also backing the panel with a 3-year warranty, which should help ease long-term burn-in concerns.

Connectivity is solid as well, and you get two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4 input, and even a built-in microphone. You also get a sturdy stand in the box with full tilt, swivel, height, and pivot adjustments, so dialing in your setup should be straightforward.

The real headline here is the $349.99 shipped price. That puts it among the most affordable QD-OLED monitors currently available from a major brand. A comparable option in Samsung’s Odyssey lineup – the G50SF – typically sits around $500, though it occasionally dips to roughly the same $350 range. Alienware’s model starts at that price out of the gate, which means future discounts could make it an even stronger value. Even at full price, it looks like a compelling pick if you’re shopping for a new gaming monitor.
