Most affordable new 2026 M5 Pro MacBook Pro you can buy just hit a new Amazon low at over $200 off

We spotted the best price of the year on the 24GB/1TB M5 MacBook Pro this morning, but Amazon is also delivering much of the same on the 24GB/1TB M5 Pro model now as well at over $200 off the price you’ll pay at Apple and elsewhere.

Amazon is now offering the base model 2026 M5 Pro MacBook Pro down at $1.,996.50 shipped in Space Black. This is the most affordable new M5 Pro machine you can buy, delivering 24GB of RAM and a 1TB internal SSD running on the 15-Core CPU and 16-Core GPU at $202.50 off the list price.

This is among the best MacBook Pro deals we have tracked since the new lineup landed last month and easily one of the best of the year, depending on the configuration you’re after.

The 24GB 2TB model has now jumped up $50 in price, but the one we are featuring here today just dropped a touch lower as of this morning. Outside of some serious power users, or folks running demanding Final Cut sessions and the like, this chip/RAM combo is likely more than enough considering you can lean on external portable SSDs and the like for extra storage needs.

That said, there are deals across the M5 Pro lineup right now and you can scope those out below:
