Hello! Apple’s most affordable 13-inch M5 MacBook Air now nearly $200 off (Best price ever)

As part of its now updated Memorial Day sale, Amazon just dropped the most affordable new Apple 13-inch M5 MacBook Air down to a new all-time low at just shy of $200 off – this is the best price we have ever tracked.

Amazon is now offering the 13-inch M5 MacBook Air with 16GB of RAM and the 512GB storage capacity down at $899.99 shipped

Regularly $1,099, you’re looking at the base model M5 MacBook Air that now comes with 512GB of storage after Apple finally got rid of the 256GB storage tier. It is now $199 off the list price to deliver a new Amazon all-time low and the best price we have tracked to date anywhere online.

This deal, at the time of writing, is now live on the Midnight, Starlight, and Sky Blue models – we will keep a close eye out for the Silver as it is still sitting at its $949 all-time low, or $150 off the list price.

If this deal is anything like the short-lived $199 price drop on the base 15-inch model at $1,099.99 (it is only live on the Starlight model now), it more than likely won’t last for long. We got just under a day on the 15-inch at the new low, and another quick blast on the Midnight model a day later, but it did not last for long. We will be eyeing this model closely this weekend as well.

It would seem to me that, with the lineup starting at 16GB/512GB this time around, this deal we are featuring here today on the least expensive model in the lineup might very well be the very best M5 MacBook Air deal of the year. The base model is more than likely more than enough for most folks, but there are solid price drops across the lineup right now for those who need the upgraded RAM and storage action:
