Amazon is now offering the official Apple iPhone Air MagSafe Battery at $59 shipped. Regularly $99, you’re looking at a solid 40% in savings for the lowest price we have ever tracked at Amazon. 

We did feature a few chances to score this one at $59.99, but, after jumping back up to full price for nearly a week, it has now dropped $1 lower to deliver a new Amazon all-time low. 

Alongside the $150 price drop we are tracking on brand new, unlocked iPhone Air units ahead of Memorial Day this weekend, the official companion battery pack has now joined the party. 

Apple unleashed its MagSafe Battery alongside the iPhone Air back in September to deliver some bonus portable battery power for those who might need some. It is not the most powerful option out there, nor is it the most compact, but it is among the thinnest models on the market and, I would argue, easily one of the most elegant. 

While at the full $99, despite my affinity for the Apple design here, it is a tough recommendation. But at 40% off, I think this is a compelling pick up for just about any iPhone Air user (it does work with other devices, but its form-factor is custom-tailored to fit the back of iPhone Air perfectly). Apple says it delivers up to 65% additional charge for Air alongside iOS Battery Widget support, and that ultra-clean aesthetic.
