We are touching back down this afternoon to highlight one of the more notable current-generation MacBook Pro deals of the year for folks looking to get in at the lowest possible price point. Best Buy launched a big Apple sale today and it is still charging even more than Amazon is right now.
Amazon is currently offering the Space Black 14-inch M5 MacBook Pro with 16GB of RAM and the 1TB internal storage capacity down to $1,499 shipped right now.
This model debuted in late 2025 at $1,799, but now that Apple has nixed the 512GB storage tier for good on the M5 lineup, this 16GB/1TB actually dropped in price down to $1,699.
Even still, today’s deal delivers $300 off the launch price and $200 off the current list on this model from Apple. Today’s deal is matching the best price we have ever tracked at Amazon.
This is indeed the same deal we have featured previously, but we wanted to make sure folks didn’t get duped into spending more on it over at Best Buy as part of its big 4-day Apple Shopping Event that went live this morning. There are some solid deals in it, but the price on this M5 MacBook Pro is not one of them.
Best Buy has the best price on iPhone Air right now at $149 off, for example, but it is charging $1,549 for this M5 MacBook compared to the $1,499 at Amazon. It might not be long before Amazon brings the price back up, so you might want to score it now while it’s $50 less if you had your eye on one this week.
