Spigen’s Athlex Trail Loop-style Apple Watch band starts at $20 right now (All colors)

One of my favorite, ultra-affordable Apple Watch bands of the last year is the Spigen Athlex. Currently on sale for between $20 and $22 Prime shipped, it delivers an Apple Trail Loop-like vibe, but for $80 less.

Amazon is now offering the Spigen Athlex Apple Watch band starting from $19.99 with free shipping for Prime members or in orders over $35. The original black/yellow is at $20, but all of the rest of the colors are now siting at $21.99. Some of them have been down this low or a touch lower in the past, but we are also looking at the best price in months on select colors as well.

Spigen unleashed its in early 2025 and then delivered a series of additional colors thereafter in January of this year.

It delivers a sporty look with a soft, flexible nylon fabric construction and a pull tab closure. More or less a one-size-fits most strap, it is one of the more comfortable models I have personally tested out in its class over the last year, and that’s not something you can often say about a band in the $20 price range.

It’s certainly not on the same quality level as an Apple Trail Loop, but at $80 less and considering how well it has held up for me with a year’s worth of hikes, running errands, workouts, gardening, light DIY/construction gigs, and things of that nature, it is an easy recommendation for anyone not looking to break the bank that likes the look of this thing.

Here’s an excerpt from my review:

But how does it actually feel on the wrist. It’s always hard to tell from images before buying one of these bands how soft and comfortable the inner side of the band will be once it has been strapped to your wrist (especially for extended periods of time). Where I might give the Spigen Lite Fit fabric strap a 7.5 or 8 out of 10 in the comfort department, the Athlex Air is much closer to 9 or 9.5 – it is very comfortable and soft on the wrist. I would even say that, for me, it might be more comfortable than my Apple Alpine Loop after extended period of use.
