MacBook price hikes now hitting Amazon, land these models at $450+ off while you still can

We warned folks to get in on the MacBook Prime Day prices before the new, much higher price tags hit Amazon, and they are now starting to go live as of this morning. There are, however, still some models you can land well below the new MSRP, like the 13-inch M5 MacBook Air at nearly $450 off.

M5 MacBook Air:

Do not sleep on these listings if you’re even mildly considering buying a new MacBook – it might only be a matter of hours before these machines are $400+ more expensive and future deal pricing might pale in comparison to these numbers (even if Tim convinces Trump to help out):

M5/Pro/Max MacBook Pro:

Updating…

Take the base M5 MacBook Pro as an example – the best deal we had tracked on that machine before the price hike was a $200 price drop from the previous $1,699 list down to $1,499, and even that was a rare discount.

Now apply that math to the new $1,999 list price, and you would be left with a $1,799 deal price – that’s still more than the former MSRP, never mind anywhere near the deal we have at the moment.

The point here being that if these price hikes remain, future deal pricing might not come anywhere near the fleeting “deal” prices we are seeing right now.
