Alongside its now live Countdown to Birthday sale event, Woot is offering JBL’s Flip 7 portable Bluetooth speaker in multiple colors at $89.99 Prime shipped (a $6 delivery fee will apply otherwise). This is the latest Flip model from JBL, which typically goes for $150, so you’re saving 40% on it today. We’ve previously only seen the blue variant of this speaker briefly drop to the $85 mark, but today’s discounted price is the lowest we tracked for the rest of the finishes. Amazon currently has this speaker listed at $150, and they’ve never dropped below $95 there. It’s rare to see this model discounted in multiple finishes at once, so be sure to grab the color you like while the deal is live.
JBL’s Flip 7 improves on the popular Flip 6 with upgraded drivers and AI Sound Boost for clearer, more powerful audio. It retains the same compact, easy-to-carry design, while adding a new PushLock system that works with the included loop and carabiner accessories. You also get IP68 dust and water resistance, protection against drops from up to one meter, and Auracast support for pairing multiple JBL speakers. This particular model is said to last for up to 16 hours on a single charge with PlayTime Boost enabled, so you don’t have to worry about charging it all the time to keep the music going.
Anker’s floatable waterproof Soundcore Boom 2 Bluetooth speaker is also worth considering as an alternative to the JBL Flip 7, and it’s down to just $70 right now from its usual price of $130.
JBL Flip 7 portable Bluetooth speaker features:
- Up to 16 hours of playtime: Keep the mood alive for 14 hours on a single charge – and when we really need to squeeze some extra juice out of our jubilee, or another dance with our darling, we can get an extra 2 hours with Playtime Boost.
- Multi-speaker connection by Auracast: Wouldn’t it be great to share the vibes with our tribe? Now we can. With Auracast, we can effortlessly stereo pair two Flip 7 speakers for a wider sound stage and connect multiple Auracast-enabled JBL speakers to cover more ground with the same playlist.
- Waterproof, dustproof, and drop-proof: Have you ever dropped your speaker, had it roll down a dusty hill and land in a lake? No? Well, believe it or not, it happens. So, we built the JBL Flip 7 to be as life-proof as they come. On top of our legendary waterproof and dust-proof design (an industry-leading IP68, BTW), we’ve also made sure that if you drop it from 1-meter onto your concrete floor, it’ll keep kicking. But please, don’t go throwing your speaker around just to flex on your friends. Throw parties instead.
