It’s not often we see other retailers undercutting Amazon deal pricing on its own current-generation Echo gear, but the now live Best Buy Black Friday in July sale has the Echo Spot smart speaker with the animated display back down at the $40 Prime day low. 

Best Buy is now offering Echo Spot in all three colors down at $39.99 shipped. 

Regularly $80 and still fetching as much at Amazon (although there is a chance we see a price match here very soon), this is a solid 50% off and the lowest price we can find in brand new condition. 

This model dropped to $45 at Amazon in the early Prime Day sale just before making its way to the $40 low in the main event. This is the lowest price we have tracked at Amazon for the Spot outside of bundle offers, and we are getting another shot at it here courtesy of Best Buy. 

The Echo Spot is my personal favorite model in the lineup, and remains the best Echo smart speaker for the nightstand, kitchen, and elsewhere if you ask me.
