Not to be confused with the second-generation Explorer 1000 v2 model, the newest third-generation Jackery HomePower 1000 v2 power station brings along more indoor-focused uninterrupted power supply (UPS) capabilities that provide more seamless, gapless power transfer to critical equipment during grid failures.
It has a 1,024Wh LiFePO4 battery capacity and seven output ports (3x ACs, 2x USB-Cs, 1x USB-A, and a 12V DC car socket), through which it can provide steady power of up to 1,500W and surge as high as 3,000W. It brings along a much wider array of recharging options, starting with the AC charging that will take around 1.25 hours to reach full, or you can activate the emergency charging mode in the companion app to cut that rate down to around 50 minutes. From there, you also have options for up to 400W of solar panel input, using your vehicle’s auxiliary port or the brand’s alternator charger as you drive, or connecting to a gas generator.
