We’re now tracking a deal at Amazon that drops SanDisk’s officially licensed 1TB microSD card for Nintendo Switch to $129.99 shipped. This model originally carried a $150 price tag, but it has jumped as high as $330 in recent months and has been sitting closer to $240 lately. Today’s deal takes a huge $110 off that recent going rate and marks the lowest price we’ve tracked since the price hikes. This Zelda-themed 1TB microSD card hasn’t been this low since December last year, making today’s offer a solid chance to grab one if you’ve been waiting for prices to come back down. Head below for more details.
SanDisk’s 1TB microSDXC card highlighted here lets you add a huge amount of storage to the original Nintendo Switch handhelds. It works with the standard Switch, Switch OLED, and Switch Lite, giving you far more room for digital games, DLC, screenshots, and other content without having to constantly clear space. The card can hit read speeds of up to 100MB/s and write speeds of up to 90MB/s, which is plenty for everyday use. The main reason to pick this one is obviously the 1TB capacity, especially if most of your game library is digital and the built-in storage fills up quickly. It’s also officially licensed by Nintendo and backed by SanDisk’s limited lifetime warranty. Just note that this is a standard microSDXC card, so it isn’t meant for Switch 2 game storage, which requires the newer microSD Express format.
If you’d rather go with a portable SSD for extra storage, Verbatim’s tiny 1TB drive is down to $150 from its usual $300 price. It’s one of the smallest portable SSDs out there, and this rare 50% discount makes it a solid alternative if you want faster transfer speeds in a compact package.
