After just launching its massive Labor Day sale, Amazon has decided it really wants your M6 Mac mini pre-order – it has now dropped the price a touch on the two most affordable configurations. The deals aren’t massive, but it is literally the only reputable place to land the brand new mini M6 with a deal right now. Just make sure you go scoop up an Apple Polishing Cloth at $9 Prime shipped before they sell out completely.
Late yesterday afternoon we spotted Amazon dropping the MSRP on the base model 16GB/256GB and now you can also add the mid-range 16GB/512GB model to the discount list:
- 2026 Mac mini M6 16GB/256GB $880 (Reg. $899)
- 2026 Mac mini M6 16GB/512GB $1,070 (Reg. $1,099)
- 2026 Mac mini M6 24GB/512GB $1,299
- 2026 Mac mini M5 Pro 24GB/512GB $1,699
We are clearly looking at light discounts here, considering the new mini starts at $899, but I mean, these things haven’t even released yet (delivery starts on September 22). And if you’re going to be pre-ordering without trade-in you might as well keep some gas or coffee money in your pocket in the process.
As of right now, and very much as expected, the brand new M6 Mac mini is still sitting at full price from other authorized Apple retailers and, of course, straight from Apple. We are yet to see the 24GB M6 or M5 Pro model drop in price at all, but we will keep an eye out.
