Deals on brand new condition M5 MacBook Air models have popped up here and there, but they have been largely intermittent since the price increase a couple months back. Today, however, as part of its Labor Day sale, Amazon is offering this Midnight 13-inch model at $150 off the list price.
Amazon is now offering the 13-inch M5 MacBook Air with 16GB of RAM and the 1TB storage capacity down at $1,449 shipped.
This is the Midnight model that regularly catches a $1,599 list price from Apple and other retailers. Today Amazon has dropped the price to deliver a solid $150 in savings and some notable price increase relief.
There are no signs the price increases are going anywhere, any time soon, if ever. Catching one of the more affordable configurations with a solid $150 price drop in brand new condition is very much notable – these sorts of deals have, by in large, only landed on the Sky Blue configs, and even those deals have been rare and short-lived.
We do not expect this $150 price drop to last for very long as it is the only 13-inch configuration at better than $100 off and most of them aren’t on sale at all.
