Release day has arrived for the new Apple Watch Ultra 4 and Apple Watch Series 12, with the new iPhone 18 Pro arriving on doorsteps across the country starting this morning, and what is arguably the very best accessory for all of them is still on sale – AirPods Pro 3 at $50 off.
Apple unleashed some new AirPods 5 that are also releasing today, and this time the entry set with a $129 list price (down at $125 on Amazon) include Active Noise Cancellation. The entry-level set delivers some serious value, but if you want a wireless charging case and the on-stem controls, you’ll need to jump up to the higher-end set at $149 – and that’s only $50 less than the flagship AirPods Pro 3 right now.
The $50 difference here isn’t nothing, but they are called AirPods Pro for a reason – the fully sealed buds deliver 3x active noise cancellation action, longer battery life, onboard heart rate sensors, and, if you ask me, a nicer looking case as well.
I certainly wouldn’t blame anyone opting for the lower-priced AirPods 5 at $125 with ANC, but I think the decision becomes more difficult if you want the charging case and stem controls.
This deal on the Pro 3 set isn’t going to stick around forever, but it looks as though Amazon is going to keep it rolling down at $199 for delivery day.
I guess it’s sort of hard to consider the wildly popular AirPods Pro 3 an accessory, but they are quite possibly the best companion for your new iPhone 18 Pro or Apple Watch and they are sitting at a notably discounted price right now.
