It is that time of year when a plethora of new third-party accessories land to support the new iPhone release, from cases and chargers to new headphone releases, and more. There are certainly some great third-party options out there, many of which we have already detailed, but for me Apple makes some of the best and most useful iPhone 18 Pro add-ons out there. So good in fact, it’s hard to really even consider them accessories – AirPods Pro 3 and AirTag 2 – and they are both on sale for release week.
AirPods Pro 3 are far too popular to just refer to them as an accessory, but they are, by and large, the most popular iPhone add-on, and perhaps the thing folks use with their new iPhone more than anything else. I guess whatever case you may have wrapped around your phone puts in just as much work, but one is far more feature-rich and functional than the other, that’s for sure.

Apple did just release the new entry-level AirPods 5, and with ANC starting down at $129 no less. This is some seriously notable value if you ask me, and certainly a worthwhile consideration for folks who simply do not need the proper sealed 3x active noise cancellation, better battery life, and powerful health features of the AirPods Pro 3, but they do call them Pro for a reason and they are currently only $50 more than AirPods 5 with the wireless charging case.
Amazon is currently offering a solid $50 off Apple’s still flagship AirPods Pro 3 to deliver a solid discount on what is, for me, the very best iPhone 18 Pro accessory there is.
While perhaps not as actively functional as a case or AirPods Pro 3, Apple’s AirTag 2 is always hard at work, in the background, passively keeping an eye on your other gear and pets and anything else really. iPhone does a wonderful job of tracking itself, but AirTag 2 adds Apple’s latest and greatest remote tracking features to iPhone 18 Pro, expanding its reach to the rest of your life.
