Amazon still shipping HomeView even faster than Apple as delivery dates start slipping into December

Some of the deliveries times from Apple on its new HomeView have slipped right into December at this point. As of today, we are just starting to see the same happen over on Amazon, but you can still score one from there much faster than Apple in most regions of the country (as of the time of writing).

The new HomeView lands with a $299 list price and is now available for pre-order ahead of the November 13 release date. At this point, there is still a chance to land one on release day from Amazon, but only on select colors:

  • HomeView Space Gray $299
  • HomeView Starlight $299

One thing to keep in mind here is that Apple is still shipping the Rose Pink model on release day, and Amazon is no longer able to ship the still discounted pink model on time to some regions.

That said, Amazon has the popular Silver model listed as arriving well ahead of Apple’s delivery date – we are seeing it landing as soon as November 22, compared to the well into December dates we are seeing on the Apple site.

Now that Amazon’s delivery dates have begun to slip past launch day, it is a good indication that it is quickly going to become increasingly difficult to land one within the first week of release. If you are looking to score one as soon as possible, now is the time to do it, especially if you’re after the popular Silver model.
